Rev up your appetite; it's Restaurant Week again
Are you hungry?
Good.
The area's annual Restaurant Week started yesterday –– but it’s not too late to make a reservation at one of the more than 50 participating restaurants.
Whether it’s pasta Florentine at CAV, or a meatball sandwich at Fatty McGee’s, there should be something for just about everyone.
There are fixed-price menus for three-course lunches and dinners at most restaurants: $12.95 for lunch and $29.95 for dinner, not including tax, tip or beverages.
Restaurant Week runs through July 19 –– it takes at least that long to try all that food –– and is sponsored by the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Find a meal or 20 online that sound good, where you can also find the phone numbers to book reservations.

Very upset and angry..There is a lunch menu on line for Restaurant 242 and being my birthday I wanted to make a lunch reservation during restaurant week. I left an answering machine message last night. 245 hours later, no one from Restaurant 242 called me back and then when I called a not so intelligent person said to me that they serve dinner only after I told her there was a luncheon menu on the restaurant week website. She said...no that can't be...we serve only dinner...So tell me why would they put lunch for 12.95 for restaurant week when they serve only dinner? And I was not happy nopt getting a call back. They will never get my business and I will tell my colleagues and friends to stay away from this place as well.....
