Obama, Clinton appeal together for party unity

UNITY, N.H. (AP) -- Rivals turned allies, Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton made a display of unity Friday in a hamlet named for it, their first joint public appearance since the divisive Democratic primary race ended. "Unity is not only a beautiful place as we can see, it's a wonderful feeling, isn't it? And I know when we start here in this field in Unity, we'll end on the steps of the Capitol when Barack Obama takes the oath of office as our next president," Clinton said just after she and Obama took the stage together.

Such hypocrits! Three weeks age they were at each other's throats saying why the other was not qualified, now she thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. I wouldn't trust either one of them as far as I could throw them.

I was there with my nephew today. I am an Obama supporter, but was surrounded by Hillary supporters not more than 30 feet from the podium. My conversations with people all around me were honest and and invigorating as we all agreed on common ground... not only about issues... but how to move ahead. Even thought the campaign rhetoric was possibly a little 'packaged' for this small town of Unity, I believe that 9 out of 10 folks walked away united.

Yes, she needs help to pay off campaigning debts. She and Billary only made 94 million last year. Poor dears.
