Is there any way of knowing exactly where this stuff was grown? In the past couple of years I have seen some scary-looking city gardens. The very worst one was beside some barroom on the corner of Barton and Dexter Streets in CF. Besides being covered with the residue of city dirt and exhaust fumes of cars stopped at the light, the vegetables probably also saw a good amount of vomit and urine on Saturday nights. Where did the stuff go? I'm pretty sure it wasn't USDA-approved.
