Will Rhode Island continue to be Clinton country?

Now that Super Tuesday is over, campaigns are focusing on the remaining primaries – including the increasingly relevant March 4 Rhode Island primary.

The Clintons are well known here. Bill Clinton and Hillary came to the state more than a dozen times during the eight years of the Clinton presidency. Bill Clinton raised money at Mark and Susan Weiner's house in East Greenwich. He campaigned for Myrth York, Jack Reed and Patrick Kennedy.

In turn, Rhode Island voters delivered big numbers to Clinton in 1992 and 1996.

Thursday in projo.com and in print, staff writers Scott MacKay and Mark Arsenault will talk to the Clinton and Obama campaigns about their plans for Rhode Island. The story will also catch up with the Romney and McCain organizations.

Patrick Kennedy returned the favor by endorsing Obama. I will keep this in mind.

you are rite, Barbara ... i mean, if hardened political hacks can't stick together, where is the loyalty in this world?

I have to agree with Barbara. JFK is probably turnin over in his grave seein what the remainin Kennedy' are up to. Obama is too young, too inexperienced and comes outta nowhere C'mon America wake up and smell the roses..

Take a look at who is in Clinton's corner in RI, it's the political hacks we're always complaining are ruining the state.

Then remember the gridlock of the Clinton second term. Can we afford a no-progress Presidency again? A President that half the country detests? Plus one whose husband's been raking in tens of millions for dollars trading on his Presidency? More blue dress stories?

For a change, let's say no to corruption and elect Obama, who has a shot at leading us out the of big mess we're in.

Just as one note of contrast, Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law, and Hillary failed the DC bar exam.
