Lt. Gov. to unveil health-care package
After nine meetings with stakeholders and guest speakers, the lieutenant governor is announcing eight bills that together comprise her health-care reform package.
Since last October, Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts has been meeting with representatives from the public and private health-care sector, as well as legislators and other stakeholders to develop a health-care plan.
The proposed bills are set to be announced at a news conference this afternoon at 2 p.m. at the State House.
