catching up 1.28.2008

Alright so i finally made it to my computer...I hope everyone's new year was good..and you made some good resolutions..ive been trying to not procrastinate..so lets see how that goes.

This month has been going a little crazy..wich i should have been writing about..but im gonna fill you in on whats been going on and tell you about some plans for the up coming months.

New years day my girls and i decided to do something crazy and take a road trip to portland ME...b/c we love it there..so we are on our way up and the further we get from RI the more snow we are driving into...we continue on and realize we hit a complete blizzard and hour or so away from home, so we decide to pull into an uno's and get some lunch.

Now have you ever had lunch somewhere random and had a waitress confide too much info to you? Well thats what happened to us..by the end of her convo she had told us about her whole new years and how it ended with her naked date ..hmmm too much info but kinda mildly entertaining considering we were stranded there until the snow let up..we decided to postpone the trip and head home.

Between that trip and the next one we took in two weeks we helped mike celebrate his birthday, went to vannas kick off to their tour show (sweet show) and enjoyed some nights out at trinity where i found out im kinda good at pool (random), ive also finished some paintings.

So we end up in Portland finally...and my first mission was to get one of those coffees ive told you all about..wicked funny as soon as the girls and i walked in that lady i always see (and who randomly swears im in some crazy band) is all stoked and comes over to say hi and stuff..we get our first round of coffees and head downtown to go into some shops and get some of their famous hot sauce.

We ended up at margaritas for dinner, while d and annmarie were at the table mel and i ran across the street to get some coffee for the ride home and this time we got a picture of us and our lovely coffee lady! After dinner we headed home..

later that week we saw my friend travis and his new band play a show in E.Prov. That saturday D lauren and I headed up to Boston to see my friend jason! I missed him tons..he's been on this crazy tour with Hot Hot Heat and the Editors..anyway i was stoked D and Lauren came with me..they love those bands..Jason hooked them up with sweet tickets like 3 seats behind front row..he gave me an extra vip pass so i could hang with him..we all hung out and partied, it was fun to see everyone again..hands down one of the best nights so far this year..the show was amazing!

Other than all that ive just been hangin out...i go on vacation to florida at the end of feb to visit some friends..and to see my friend daniel's latest music project!
