PC Still Busy with Prospects
Zanna signed with Pitt today. Is PC also recruiting bug guys like Andrew Fitzgerald? And Jordan Williams, though he seems to be narrowing his focus... hope Providence can get a good big man, I want to see Keno succeed a little.

PC Gets Michigan's Mondy
Chris Davis makes the Michigan market available to PC. I like what I read about the direction of the new program under Keno/Driscoll. PC needs to win 10 games in the Big East this season and play for a post-season birth in the BET. Get ready for monster recruiting years in '09 and '10.

PC to compete in Anaheim Classic over Thanksgiving weekend
This is a nice move. We get tournament style play against decent, but not overwhelming, opponents at a time in the season when that's exactly what you want.
GENO!

ESPN: Dwain Williams to join Craig Robinson at Oregon State
Seems pretty telling to me that Dwain appears closer to the Brown coach than he did to his own. It was pretty clear he didn't buy into the system at PC. Can't wait for the Keno era! (just hope he's able to wrangle a PG from somewhere).

Talk PC hoops with Kevin McNamara on Friday
Any sense on what kind of buyout is in Keno's contract? One potential concern I have is that (a) he has a great year next year with PC's team succeeding with his 3 point offense; but then (b) his recruiting is questionable and so he leaves PC ahead of a rebuilding process during '09 +'10.

2 Questions
1. Any sense on potential Assistants that Keno may choose?
2. Any clarity on just who PC interviewed and who they did NOT interview during the process?

PC's press release announcing Davis
Well Finally! And a Hawkeye to boot! Many of my family are Iowa grads, My Aunt Pat was in charge of the women's sports medicine at Iowa, and my Uncle Bob was a Big-10 wrestling champion back in the '30's.
Coach Davis, be assured that we all wish you the best of luck in your coaching time here at PC.

PC Coach Update
Driscoll should be closing a deal with Hobbs - he brings, energy, passion, a good track record (for a young coach)and street smarts.
Forget these hillbilly, country boys - we need someone who knows the Northeast and the Big East. Hobbs played tough ball at CT and he knows where the players are. Plus he'll keep everyone on the reservation. Stop wasting time and schedule the press conference.

PC Coach Update
Hobbs should be a legitimate candidate - Driscoll unfortunately is listening to a narrow minded group of insiders - we don't need to go back to Iona - we did that once.

Why would Driscoll be taking advice from a conference rival? Are any of these new candidates better than Welsh, at least he's been in the conference for a while.

Well, it looks like he turned down that bustling little gem of a city. A vibrant community, that.
Good luck in the search. I can't wait to see what names get tossed out there now.
