URI beats South Florida in tournament game

Will Daniels and Jimmy Baron each scored 17 points to lead the University of Rhode Island to a first-round tournament victory over Southern Florida.

URI trailed by 7 points at half time, but then came back with a 47-point second half to win by 7. The victory in the Glenn Wilkes Classic in Florida pushes URI's record to 3-0.
