What's up at Louisville? Rick Pitino's boys lost at Freedom Hall last night to UMass. It's a great win for the A-10 but perhaps a more revealing result in the upcoming Big East season. Louisville has now lost to Dayton and UMass and has Kentucky up next on Saturday. Sure wouldn;t want to be hangin' with Ricky P. right about now.
The real question is if Louisville isn't very good, does that open a spot in the top 6 or 7 in the Big East for Providence? The Friars and other teams pegged to finish in the bottom half of the conference like West Virginia, Notre Dame, Seton Hall and Cincinnati could be better than people thought.
Something to think about as exam week at PC rolls on.
