Even if the party starts with the day's first game at 1, you can still thread some skewers or toothpicks. Head for the grocery store and buy:. 3/4 lb Italian Prosciutto di Parma You may already have: Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds. Using a melon baller, scoop up the melon into small balls. Take a small strip of prosciutto and wrap it around a melon ball. Pierce through with a toothpick and add a piece of mozzarella if desired. Repeat for all melon balls. Arrange on a platter. Makes about 30 pieces. Note: I love melon, so I'd probably buy two for 30 pieces. -- Elise Bauer, Simply Recipes |
