Rhode Island Public Transportation Authority (RIPTA) representatives will host open houses to answer questions and take input on the proposed implementation of the E-ZPass system on the Pell Bridge.
The open houses will inform the public on what is proposed to date on the program. There will be displays and staff on hand to demonstrate how the equipment will work. Installation of the E-ZPass system is expected to be complete early next year.
Open houses will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon and Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the RIPTA Administrative Office/Maintainance Facility, Jamestown and Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Old Colony House, Washington Square, Newport.
