The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Hasbro Inc. today recalled 330,000 Nerf N-Strike Recon Blasters following a series of injury reports.
The toy, which shoots foam pieces, can injure the face, neck or chest if skin is caught in its plunger. There have been 46 reports of injuries, such as bruising, abrasions, pinching, blood blisters and welts.
The recall is for the Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6 Blaster, which has an orange plunger. The toy was designed for children at least 6 years old.
