RI company headquarters moving to Louisiana
Manufacturing company Bercen Inc. is relocating its corporate headquarters from Cranston to Livingston Parish in Louisiana.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a Brown University graduate, said the move will bring 20 new jobs to the state, with pay averaging $90,000 per year. The company also plans to expand its local manufacturing operations in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
Jindal announced the move with Bercen officials yesterday.
Bercen supplies products and services to the paper industry.
