The Superior Court judge hearing challenges to permits issued for FM Global's new headquarters in Johnston took no action in the case when he met this morning with lawyers for the town of Johnston, FM Global and CapLease. CapLease, FM Global's landlord, is contesting the new headquarters to be built next door to the current building. Judge Michael A. Silverstein said he will wait until Johnston's Zoning Board, which voted Wednesday to uphold the permits, issues its written decision, which could come as early as Monday. In the meantime, FM Global can continuing building the foundation of its new building, but not proceed further. |
