John Maeda, incoming president of the Rhode Island School of Design, will deliver a keynote address at 10:30 a.m. Other speakers and seminars will follow during the day. Although much of Maeda's compelling media presentation was pre-fab, he began his keynote address with a few digital shots taken that morning before the 10:30 presentation, showing that this is a guy who is 'always on', always paying attention to his surroundings, always abstracting from the commonplace that most men miss.
