Analyst: Alexion will just miss Wall St. forecast
Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. is expected to have just missed Wall Street projections for its fourth-quarter earnings, with a loss of 50 cents per share, compared with estimates of a loss of 48 cents per share, Credit Suisse analyst Michael Aberman told the Associated Press.
The stock jumped 86 percent in 2007, the AP reported.
Alexion has spent nearly $80 million renovating the former Dow Chemical plant in Smithfield, where it hopes to produce the drug Soliris, its only commercial product.
