The Boston Herald reports today that Mike Timlin no longer feels pain in his left oblique, and that he is ready to begin throwing again on Thursday. The newspaper quotes pitching coach John Farrell as its source.

I think as being a baseball coach for 30 plus years, Mike should stay in Fla till he feels beter. Cold weather in april will be of no beneift for his back.. Also the soxs could look at another reliever for 30 days before they have to send someone out..
