If you've been in Rhode Island this morning, the idea that anyone could play baseball within 50 miles of here is ludicrous. The rain has been coming down so steadily, and so hard, that there would seem to be no chance that the Red Sox and Phillies could play today.
However, conditions are different in Boston. It's barely rained at Fenway, and fans have gathered for this afternoon's game.
But there's another "however". The rain that's been here is allegedly headed up there. And if that's the case, the Sox and Phillies could be in trouble.
