Sox win, 7-6, on Loretta's 9th-inning homerThe Boston Red Sox won their Patriot's Day game dramatically this afternoon with a two-out, ninth-inning home run by second baseman Mark Loretta. Loretta's two-run home run came after infielder Kevin Youkilis beat out a single to keep the inning alive. Reliever Mike Timlin got the win in the 7-6 victory.
