BOSTON -- J.D. Drew, who will rejoin the team in Tampa Monday after returning home to Georgia to attend the funeral of his grandmother, will likely miss the entire series with the Rays.
Drew, who received a shot Friday to help alleviate back spasms, hasn't played since Aug. 17.
``He has one area that's still grabbing him,'' said manager Terry Francona. ``They tried to find the trigger point (with the shot) that caused the spasm.''
