-- Mike Lowell (oblique) hit off a tee on Saturday. He's taking today off but may take batting practice Monday.
-- Kevin Youkilis still was feeling the effects of flu-like symptoms and may not even make it to the ballpark today.
-- Coco Crisp (flu-like symptoms) is feeling better but not well enough to play.
-- Josh Beckett (elbow, flu-like symptoms) is feeling better and is expected to play catch today. The Sox think Beckett, who last pitched on Aug. 17 before tingling and numbness in two of his fingers forced him to the sidelines and ultimately the disabled list, could make a start Friday night in Texas.
-- Bartolo Colon pitches today for Pawtucket and likely will work for the PawSox in the playoffs. Manager Terry Francona intimated that Colon could return for action in a Sept. 13.day-night doubleheader at home against Toronto.
