I believe that Faulk also took the direct snap for a 2-pt conversion in the AFC Championship loss to Indy a few years back

  • 9:59 AM Ed on Al Davis says Patriots tampered with Randy Moss

LOL Al Davis is the most entertaining ass in the league. "He's their team, of course, with the quarterback." Ok...Pats didn't win 3 super bowls without Moss or anything... "Even Denver, where they'll take anybody, turned him down." LOL cheap shot at Denver. W/e. Someone should just buy the Raiders out already so we don't have Al Davis in the NFL anymore. This is just ridiculous.

mr. troy brown although i new some day it would come to this day.in all the years of watching the pats i've never seen the likes of anyone so special,so dedicated,so lively,so dependable and so much fun to watch.there are hundreds of reasons to call you number one in my book and these are just a few.you played the game the way the game should be played with heart.it must have been something to sit in on all those meetings.offense, specialty teams and defense all for gameday.but i really found out how special you was just last year when a friend of mine told to read your team bio.he told me there was something in there of interest, seeing i was always talking about your greatness.what i found to be so special of the player i always talked about was we share the same birthday.big margin in years but still the same day.you will be missed and i hope we don't have to wait until your inducted into the hall to see or hear from you.bless you you're the best and thank you from john coyle and friends

  • 1:34 PM Smiling Pete on Football Today -- Patriots celebrate their special success

Now Dick Vermeil is saying that Plaxico got what was coming to him! In his blog he wrote "Burress deserves what he got. He's lucky he wasn't suspended for four games. And if his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, wants to file a grievance, I say good luck to him!" Sheesh, what's with all the burress hating.

  • 10:58 AM Jeremy on Football Today -- Memo to Ellis: When the team stinks, the fans boo

I don't think he was upset about the booing... I think it was the exodus that stunk up the joint. These are the same fans who stick around hours afterward games that they win, infringing upon their personal freedoms, and yet if they don't win, they leave. The prices are the same either way. You go for the experience of SUPPORTING YOUR TEAM. When they're down, they need it more than ever... yet, in typical New England sportsfan fashion... you leave the stadium. Bunch of Bandwagon NitWits.

  • 8:43 AM KEVIN CALDWELL on Transcript: Ben Coates' conference call after his election to the Patriots Hall of Fame

I would just like to say that I played with Ben at Livingstone College, and we knew that we were playing with a special player. His work ethic was unbelievable. We had fun partying just like any other college students do. Ben would party, and you would get up the next morning and you would see him on the track or in the weight room working to achieve his goal of playing in the NFL. I'm proud of my former college teammate, and wish only the best for him in the future. K. Caldwell

  • 1:13 AM PB on Steeler-fan site starts "Bernard Pollard Fan Club"

I'm a lifelong Steelers fan, but this is wrong. Don't cheer for an injury to anyone, especially a good player. This kind of stuff makes us look like knuckle-dragging douchebags. Steelers fans are better than this. Don't get me wrong, I hate how Tom Brady is treated like Jesus Christ, especially up here in New England. I would have much rather see him throw 4 picks every game than sit out due to a season ending injury. How about a Miami Dolphins patriot killer shirt or a videotaping one? NY made tons of those 18-1 shirts. Those were excellent. Regardless, Go Steelers!
