If You're Counting on Gostkowski...

FOXBORO -- Pats kicker Stephen Gostkowski's miss (wide right) from 48 yards midway through the second quarter left the second-year specialist 1-for-3 this season from 40 yards and beyond. He also has a miss in the 30-to-39 range, where he's 5-for-6. Overall this season, he's 14-of-17.
His miss meant the Pats failed to capitalize on a fortuitous turnover, having gained possession at the Steelers' 34 when Chris Hanson short punt bounced off a Pittsburgh blocker and the ball was recovered by New England's James Sanders.

Seven Pats lead Pro Bowl voting -- just not Brady

With a little more than a month until the AFC and NFC Pro Bowls are named, the NFL has announced early voting results. Seven New England players are the leading vote-getters at their respective position -- but record-setting quarterback Tom Brady is not among them.

The leading vote-getter for AFC quarterback is Peyton Manning (441,852); Brady is behind him at 440,354. Green Bay's miracle man Brett Favre (458,837) is the leading vote-getter overall.

Unhappy with the standings? You can vote here. Or if you have a Sprint cell phone, text "PRO" to 7777 to vote.

Willie Andrews; Doing It On Defense

MIAMI -- Willie Andrews isn't resting on his laurels.

Having returned a kickoff 77 yards for a touchdown early in the second quarter, he downed a Chris Hanson punt on the Miami 1-yard line with a little more than four minutes to go 'til halftime.
