Opie, Anthony & Brady

According to profootballtalk.com, the Opie and Anthony radio show has been pushing a rumor that Tom Brady failed a drug test. The site, which keeps a daily inventory on NFL rumors, throws cold water on the show's assertion. Click here to see the site's daily rumor mill, which also contains a link to the mysterious audio glitch that CBS has taken the blame for, and that has fed the Patriots-Colts crowd noise dispute.

The only drug Brady has done is he tends to smoke hot models. As for the Colts, they were piping in crowd noise over their PA system as they always do when they play the Pats. They also tampered with the Pats communications equipment, just after they paid off the officials. Pats still won however, because 1: they are the better team, and 2: they have a better quarterback, and 3: because they have a better coach, and 4: because the Colts actually (stink) when you take away the artificial noise and tampered with communications equipment, and the crooked officials and... Oh yeah, they even sucked when they had all that. Colts Schmolts.

Can we finally pull the plug on the Opie and Anthony experiment and bring back the coach. These guys are brutal.

From an O&A fan;
The O&A show has many listeners from 6am-11am. unfortunately the show is in the middle of a prize give-away each day from 7am-7:30am ET where what we call Prize-Pigs (not regular listeners) will wait till 7am to listen to the show for the sound bite signaling them to call in.

This bit called "make up stuff Tuesday" specifically the Tom Brady story worked well. many idiots called the O&A show trying to get updates on a bogus story set up and configured between 6-6:15am ET on air. Had these idiots been listening to the show rather than trying to win $1000, maybe the bit might not have taken off like it did.

We PEST would lke to congradulate the Opie and Anthony show for a JOB well done.

Linger longer..You might miss something..IMPORTANT

What made it even funnier is that the spent almost an entire hour collaborating the story with fans before announcing it at 7am and the media ran with it based on blogs and other internet rumors as stories. Lazy media, pure lazy. When O&A announce the story is on ESPN.com, PLEASE do yourself a favor and check ESPN.com before you carry it...and if it's not located ANYWHERE on ESPN, check other things called "sources". If you can't find it anywhere, all else fails, call ESPN or maybe even the Patriots before you throw more gas on the fire. Idiot media.
allforadeuce - perhaps you're the lazy one. If you had read the blog entry, you'd know that we didn't run the story as fact. Thanks for your contribution though. - smy
