Associate Dope of the Month: Manny Arora
Hey all --
Who is Manny Arora, you ask? Well, he's Pacman Jones' lawyer.
And we can totally see why Jones employs him.
Arora told The Tennessean today that Jones "is stressed beyond belief." Really? We can't imagine why. Well, maybe we can: being arrested/questioned by police 10 times in two years, remembering when your next league drug test will be so you can stop doing pot in time , allegedly threatening to kill a strip club bouncer after a melee broke out and before someone who may or may not be part of your posse returns to said strip club and shoots said bouncer (plus two others), and even getting your Mama arrested for marijuana possession (even if the charges were dropped)...
...Oh, and then there's that minor issue of making sure you can pull all this off and still keep the job that's supposed to pay you $1.3 million in base salary for the coming year.
Yeah, I guess that's stressful.
But listen to Arora and tell us he's not worth every penny Jones is paying him:
"No matter how the media may want to paint it, nobody gets that lucky," Arora said, referring to the 10 times Jones has been arrested or questioned by police with no charges filed. "He's just made some poor decisions with the people he's associated with, and they're trying to drag him down."
Yes. It is everyone else's fault! Of course!
As an associate of our Dope of the Month, Manny Arora is our first-ever Associate Dope of the Month.
