Good morning from Gillette
Hey all --
We're here in the pressbox, where we suspect the air conditioning is actually on due to the unseasonable temperatures outside. Weather-wise, it certainly is quite different than the last time these two teams played, when a rainy day made the already treacherous field a muddy mess. Less than two months later, we're looking down at a pristine field with gorgeous sunshine overhead. If the weather impacts the game at all, it will be because of the wind; it's quite breezy here right now and the flags outside the stadium are rippling.
From what we here, the tailgaters were out mighty early this morning, around 8 a.m. by one report. We got stalled a bit as well, and we even left home earlier than usual, which, if you know us (well, me), is a miracle in and of itself.
There's not a whole lot going on inside the stadium. Lonie Paxton was out on the field practicing his snaps several minutes ago, and Vinny Testaverde is running laps around the field as we type.
We'll update you again as the game gets closer.
