FOXBORO -- The last practice of training camp is in progress. Among the players not participating are Randall Gay, Guss Scott, and Duane Starks. Santonio Thomas, Ty Warren, Mike Vrabel,Kevin Faulk, Brandon Gorin, David Terrell and Andre Torrey are also idle. Ray Ventrone got his hair cut. It doesn't look so good. There's a long piece of hair dangling from the back of his head. There's a thin stripe running across the top from ear to ear. And the hair over his ears is hanging down. Otherwise, it's shaved. The rest of the rookies are also sporting less than stellar hairstyles. Kooky training camp initiation rites. So far at 2 p.m., the defensive linemen have worked on scooping up bounding footballs, running backs and quarterbacks have done dummy running plays and Tom Brady is now in charge a 7-on-7 passing drill.
