Bruins acquire McQuaid from Blue Jackets

The Columbus Blue Jackets traded defenseman Adam McQuaid (left) to the Boston Bruins on Wednesday for a fifth-round pick in next month's NHL draft.
McQuaid, 20, had nine goals and 22 assists in 65 games with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League this past season. Columbus' second pick in the 2005 draft, McQuaid has 18 goals and 58 assists in 246 career games, all with Sudbury. |
