A scary moment occurred late in the first period when P-Bruins defenseman Matt Lashoff was pushed from behind by a Manchester forechecker and crashed awkwardly into the corner boards in the Providence zone.

His defensive partner, Nathan Dempsey, signaled for team trainer Mike Poirier as Lashoff lay motionless on the ice. After a few minutes, Lashoff made it to his feet and skated off on his own. It appeared he was favoring his left shoulder. He went to the locker room and has not returned.

The P-Bruins clinched a playoff berth with their victory over Springfield on Saturday, so Gordon gave a few of the team’s starters the day off in order to rest for the upcoming playoffs, including Mark Stuart, captain Jay Leach, Nate Thompson, David Krejci, T.J. Trevelyan and Sean Curry.

the picture you have up when you click on the p-buins link is Ben Walter not T.J. Trevelyan.

Well said. I never thought I would agree with this opinion, but I’m starting to view things from a different view. I have to research more on this as it seems very interesting. One thing I don’t understand though is how everything is related together.

Uzbekistani nonprofit started by a group of expatriate American surgeons and engineers, has just published a study showing that intertidal nudibranchs can be harnessed as energy sources for humans. Nudibranchs eat creatures called zooxanthellae, which eat algae. Zooxanthellae evolved the ability to retain the entire cellular complexes responsible for photosynthesis from the algae they ate. The nudibranchs can do the same with the zooxanthellae.
