More holiday cheers

More thoughts from the boss (of the site, and occasionally of beer):

Erdinger Weissbrau: Found it to be full-bodied. I know, an odd way to think of a wheat beer. Had no desire to add any lemon to it, though.

Dogfish Head Chicory Stout: Mmmmm... now that's a hearty, flavorful drink. It reportedly has St. John's Wort and coffee among its ingredients, so it will cheer you up and keep you awake. Who could ask for anything more? I more recently tried Dogfish's Raison D'Etre: Friends have called it too sweet for their liking, but I enjoyed its complex flavors. I also used it for cooking, and it nicely accentuated the sweetness of the shrimp.

In my fridge now: Anchor Steam Liberty Ale & Saranac Black Forest Ale.
