Chafee to announce Alito vote this morning
PROVIDENCE – U.S. Sen. Lincoln Chafee has scheduled a press conference this morning to announce how he will vote on the nomination of Judge Samuel A. Alito Jr. to the United States Supreme Court.
The Republican senator plans to announce his decision at 10 a.m. in his office on Westminster Street.

If Chafee flip-flops on this he won't get my vote again. Word is he'll vote against the filibuster when his vote is crucial, then vote against Alito when his vote doesn't matter.
Chafee says he's pro-choice and pro-civil liberties, but if he lets a right-wing ideologue like Alito doom our women and daughters to death by illegal backstreet abortions, he's no Republican.
There'll be civil war if the country has to live by the right-wing's rules.
