Which party has won the hearts and minds of the lodging and tourism industry in the election so far?
For the first time since 1994, the industry and its employees have spent more supporting the Democratic Party ($1.68 million) than the Republican Party ($1.52 million), according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Alot of those donations are from individuals and also supported Congressional campaigns, not just the presidential campaigns.
