Royal Caribbean cruise line has launched American Idol-themed vacations aboard their ships according to this story in the New York Times.
The story has a few details including the starting price -- $699 -- and plan to have past contestants sing on the sea.
Interestingly, a link in the New York Times story to Royal Caribbean Idol-themed site reveals a placeholder page promising more details soon and mentioning that "no agreement has yet been finalized between American Idol and Royal Caribbean." That might be important.
