Showers possible on Super Bowl Sunday

Rain and snow could strike the Inland region Saturday night, making for a soggy Super Bowl Sunday.

The small storm could arrive Saturday night, creating showers in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, with snow at elevations above 6,000 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

A cold front will bring heavy showers from about 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, forecasters said. High winds could reach 40 mph in some mountain and pass areas with the winter cold front leaving the region Sunday night.
