Dodgers-Red Sox?

Not to get ahead of ourselves here, but before Game 3 of the Angels-Boston series, the possibility of a Boston-LA World Series has a lot of intrigue in these parts.
It would bring the McCourts face to face with the franchise they failed to buy before they nabbed the Dodgers.
It would bring Nomar Garciaparra back to Boston, the team he says gave up on him just before it won its 2004 World Series, even though most reports say Nomar privately was angling to leave.
It would bring back to Boston Derek Lowe, the pitcher who won all three clinching games in the 2004 postseason.
It would put Joe Torre in the opposing dugout again.
It would pit Boston's J.D. Drew against the team he angered by opting out of his contract after the 2006 season.
And we haven't even gotten to a certain outfielder, yet.

That would be an awesome World Series. Imagine old friends Manny Ramirez, Nomar Garciaparra, Derek Lowe, and the hated Joe Torre back in Fenway! I'd love to see that although I think the Phillies will crush the Dodgers.
