Brad Penny hasn't been with the team since he walked out of the Dodger Stadium clubhouse last week upon learning his year upon learning he had been placed on the 60-day disabled list and wouldn't be able to pitch in the postseason.

But after speaking to Penny, trainer Stan Conte said the right-hander is expected to see a doctor and rejoin the team this weekend to rehabilitate his inflamed right shoulder.
