Citizens Bank Phone Booth

The respective ballparks of the Dodgers and Phillies couldn't be more different -- the hitter-friendly Citizens Bank Park in Philly and pitchers' paradise Dodger Stadium.
The fact that each team swept a four-game series in their own parks late in the season might seem significant -- perhaps a sign that each team is much more comfortable playing in one extreme setting or another.
Phils coach Davey Lopes, who played most of his career at Dodger Stadium, though, said any differences in the ballparks are more than negated by the way the games get pitched.
"I've heard pitchers say they don't like it (at Citizens Bank) because of the dimensions of the park, but they can't take the mound with those kind of negatives in their heads.
"Now if you give up a soft fly ball for a home run, that might change things.
"But whether you're at Dodger Stadium or Citizens Bank, the most important thing in any game is what kind of stuff a pitcher has.
"I don't think a hitter changes his approach. I always felt if you hit a ball hard enough it's going to go out no matter where you are."
