Final: Chargers stunned, 26-24

Carolina took this one down to the end, with a third-and-7 at the 20 and six seconds left. Jake Delhomme completed a pass to Mushin Muhammad, who gained 6 yards and called timeout as Shaun Phillips dragged him down.

So it came down to one last play: Two seconds left, fourth-and-1 at the 14, Carolina trailing by five ... and Delhomme's pass into the end zone was caught by Dante Rosario for a touchdown, a 25-24 Carolina lead -- and it's a good thing they don't have an excessive celebration penalty in the NFL, because the Panthers came off the bench en masse to mob Rosario after his 14-yard touchdown catch.

Final, after the extra point: 26-24, Panthers.
