I must say that there are very few things that I enjoy more than day games in San Diego. I can't even begin to describe how beautiful it is today. It's in the mid-70s, you can smell the salty air from the ocean -- which is closer to this stadium than almost anybody realizes -- and the sky is perfectly clear. Combine that with two division rivals playing and Jake Peavy pitching, and it's about as perfect of day for baseball as you could imagine.
