One advantage of starting a day game at 12:10 after a night game for the Dodgers Wednesday was apparent with the posting of the lineup card.

Matt Kemp, who took the first swing last night, is hitting second today.

Manager Joe Torre said he "hadn't talked with (GM) Ned (Colletti) yet,'' but that "usually it takes a little longer than that (overnight)'' for the league office to issue a ruling and expected suspension for Kemp's part in instigating the altercation with Rockies catcher Yorvit Torrealba Tuesday night.

"It takes a little longer than that,'' Torre said, expecting to hear "probably this afternoon.''
