Sorry Lakers fans, but the roars I heard for Tiger Woods at Torrey Pines today were far louder than anything I've heard at Staples Center during the Celtics series. I was one group ahead of Tiger with Davis Love III for most of the day, yet the ovation for both of Tiger's eagles was unmistakable. Often Love and playing partner D.J. Trahan had to pause for minutes at a time when Tiger was on the green nearby.
