The Lakers are up against a tall order in the NBA Finals now that they trail the Boston Celtics, 3-1.

When the Celtics won Game 4, it marked the 29th time in the Finals a team has opened a 3-1 lead after four games.

In each of the prior 28 instances, the team leading 3-1 has going on to win the NBA the NBA championship.

No team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA championship.
