It was inevitable that the little tiff between Ray Allen-Kobe Bryant four years ago would be plied this week. Allen was openly critical of Bryant then, blaming him for the breakup of the Lakers -- a commonly held view, but not often expressed in public by players.
It's been largely forgotten, but with the two meeting this week -- and starting out most likely guarding each other -- it had to come up.
"Feud over," said Bryant this week, repeating a reporter's inquiry.
My guess is that it will be one of those things that was interesting right up until the games actually begin, then it will mean absolutely nothing.
Unless they get feisty with each other.
