Lakers almost made history

If the Lakers had started their comeback sooner (or the Celtics had gotten weary of hammering the Lakers a minute or so earlier) it would have been the biggest fourth-quarter rally (or choke job) in the history of the NBA Finals.
Boston led by 22 after three quarters.
The award for the biggest three-quarter lead ever blown goes to Portland. The Blazers had a 15-point edge over Chicago but the Bulls won the fourth quarter, 33-14, and won Game 6 of the 1992 Finals, 97-93.
