Anyone who's ever seen Kiefer Sutherland in the Fox Drama knowns that the countdown from 24 can be an awfully suspenseful one.

For Lakers fans, it's been a depressing one.

LA led by as many as 24 points but has watched that dwindle away as the Lakers trail Boston by five with 2:10 left.

They have the ball...and No. 24. Sit tight.
