Angels Look For Sweep

8:06 AM Wed, Jun 04, 2008 | | Comments (0)

Jered Weaver will take the mound for this afternoon's businessman's special as the Angels go for a series sweep in Seattle.

Weaver has had a very up and down season and in his last start allowed six runs in four innings, one start after pitching eight shutout innings.

It will be his ninth start against the Mariners, a team he's had decent success against. Though 0-1 with a 7.94 ERA vs. Seattle this season, Weaver is 4-2 with a 5.06 ERA in his lifetime against the M's.
