Lakers prepare for Bear of a reception

For Lakers coach Phil Jackson, there is much more that the Utah Jazz use for home-court advantage.

Well, at least that's what he likes to say.

During pre-game introductions, the Jazz mascot, the Bear, rides around on a motorcycle, and he revs it up and it's very loud.

Jackson joked that there might be a way to stop the Jazz from getting that home-court advantage it has always had.

``Maybe gas mask for the motorcycle ride,'' Jackson joked.

The Jazz were 37-4 at Energy Solutions Arena during the season, mascot or no mascot riding a very loud motorcycle.

``The league has done things about the decibels in the building and we hope that they hold true to that,'' Jackson cracked.

The Lakers play Game 3 of the Western Conference second-round playoff series against the Jazz in Salt Lake City Friday night and Game 4 there Sunday.
