Jason Schmidt threw a bullpen session and is scheduled to throw in one more simulated game early next week before heading out likely to Class A Inland Empire for a rehabilitation assignment that will mark his first time pitching competitively in nearly a year.

Jonathan Broxton threw a bullpen session, and is likely to be available tomorrow.

Tony Abreu ran the bases at extended spring training, and after getting in some games there is expected to begin a rehabilitation assignment with Class AAA Las Vegas next week.
