Hong-Chih Kuo wiped out the Mets with eight strikeouts in relief to get his second win in four days and his career-high win total. Kuo, he of four elbow surgeries, was topping out at 98 miles per hour, though Rick Honeycutt did mention that the radar gun was reset before the game.
