I don't know about a sweep. I don't like what I see from Jered Weaver. After last year you'd think he'd work on a new pitch or two but he's exactly the same this year. Foul ball after foul ball. With his style of pitching he's going to have to learn a couple new tricks. He doesn't seem to throw enough strikes.

And what's with Vlad getting caught in the first? That was bad. Greinke was really struggling and all that did was get him out of a bad inning only giving up one run. Vlad better hit two homers and drive in at least six runs. This lineup is getting weaker by the day. I hope Casey just got the day off and isn't out for an injury.

Wow, Jered Weaver is horrible. He can't even get these Triple A kids out. Someone teach him how to pitch already. He just isn't what we need right now. He's turning into his brother already. I thought he'd be a good pitcher when he came up. I guess he just didn't bother learning anything new. If it worked in college it will work in the majors.

Good night Jered. Five runs in less than two innings to these losers in garbage. Can the Angels get a real pitcher on the mound please?

Bootcheck stinks as bad as Weaver. This won't be a sweep, I can tell you that. Is the rain about to start pouring down? Just cancel the game and make it up when the Angels have better pitching. Good thing Saunders and Santana have been great this year. Garland hasn't been much yet and Weaver has been mediocre at best. We could really use a great middle reliever who knows how to stop the bleeding.
